An activist hedge fund manager targeting uncorrelated returns & environmental impact.
Sunlight Partners is a forensic research platform for the green transition — aiming to bring accountability to markets on the technologies, claims, and processes shaping what could be ‘the largest reallocation of capital in history’.¹
Our model aims to generate uncorrelated returns through investigative research that seeks to identify and expose overvalued companies engaged in environmental fraud, greenwashing, or unsustainable practices. We take short positions, publish findings, and aim to drive market re-rating through disciplined, evidence-based campaigns.
We are building proprietary systems and research methodologies to assess the next decades of environmental investment — generating analysis designed to shape both market outcomes and the policy frameworks governing decarbonisation and natural-asset protection.
Sunlight combines top-tier experience across derivatives (Citadel Securities), research (Wall Street Journal), and equities (Invenomic Capital Management), and aspires to institutional-quality execution alongside the use of IRIS+ frameworks to measure environmental impact.
